The event is run in conjunction with RallyMoto, a UK adventure rally specialist and attracts up to 60 riders from the UK as well as local riders.

For the first time ever the Tour of Portugal will include:
- A prologue on Day 1
- Four full days of roadbook rallying
- New 5-Star venue
An epic off-road Adventure Rally for all rally and adventure bikes, with big routes, GPS tracking, full Adventure Rally scoring and rules and trophy prizes up for grabs. It’s a real roadbook treat through some stunning scenery and breathtaking terrain.
